In Siena the Farm House La Selva is located just 5 km from the city but surrounded by green countryside of Tuscany, where racehorses are bred pure English blood. La Selva lake is mentioned in the 'old Caleffo (an ancient book of the town of Siena) already in 1293.Il farm comprises 12 hectares of meadow and 25 acres of woodland where it is possible to stroll through hiking trails ready.
The Farmhouse dominates the valley of the Pian del Lago, where until the late 1700s there was a lake, proscuigare made by the Grand Duchy of Tuscany and the green hills of the Senese Montagnola rich hermitages and castles.
